[돈과 경제] Time is money

With our economy being the way it currently is, it's impossible not to think about how to save more money let alone how we can make more (우리의 현재 경제 상태에서는, 어떻게 돈을 더 벌지는 물론, 소비를 어떻게 더 줄일지) and it has gotten us more interested in cost-cutting solutions than ever, which in itself has already become a popular business model and a key marketing angle for a lot of products and services. (소비절감 전략, 그 어느 때보다도, 그것 자체가, 주요 마케팅 전략)

 

But, as with many things, we need to improve our methods and our thinking beyond the level of simply 'spending less' and more towards 'making better use of our time'.(많은 것이 그렇듯이, 방식과 생각, 단순히 ‘덜 쓰기’수준에서 ‘시간을 더 잘 활용하기'의 방향으로) For instance, if you have found a more cost-efficient solution for your Internet TV service, then you've found a more efficient way to spend your time watching TV. That's not to say that watching TV is all bad but perhaps there's a way to make better use of some of that time. Time is money. 

 

Your time is as valuable as your money and it deserves to be treated with the same level of seriousness. Saving money and overall becoming more financially capable is getting harder and simply spending a little less here and there doesn't seem like it's going to cut it. (경제적인 능력을 갖추는 것, 단순히 여기저기서 덜 쓰는 것만으로는 부족해 보인다.) Perhaps it requires a more sophisticated approach like adjusting to new habits and lifestyles.
